How to Create Teams in Mobile DevSecOps Build System to Accelerate Delivery

Appdome for Teams is Ideal for CI/CD Development Environments
Development organizations invest heavily in creating unique CI/CD development cycles that meet their organizational needs. This manner of working ensures that the right people are doing the right job to accelerate the development cycle and is a fundamental part of any CI/CD process.
How to Use Team Workflows in Mobile App Security Projects
When working in a team, there are different roles for each team member – for example, one builds the app, the other signs it and another one reviews it. Appdome enables working in that manner using Appdome for Teams. You can use all of Appdome’s features in a team, so each team member can do their role in building the app while viewing all the other team member’s progress.
Prerequisites for using Appdome for Teams
To use Appdome for Teams features, you’ll need:
- Appdome Ideal-GO or Higher account (create a free Appdome account here)
How to Use Appdome for Teams
The sections below provide step-by-step instructions to collaborate using Appdome for Teams.
Create a Team:
- Click on Personal Workspace at the top left of your screen.
- Click + Create Team.
- Use the Create Team dialog box to perform the following steps:
- Enter the name of your team.
- Enter the team type UAT, PROD, LEGACY, or TEST.
- Optional:
- Write a brief description of the team.
- Invite team members to collaborate as part of your team.
Optional: Allow only domain members to be invited. - Upload a CSV file containing the names of team members and their entitlements and roles. For more details, see How to Add Team Members with Entitlements and Roles from CSV in DevSecOps Build System.
Congratulations! You’ve now created a team and are ready for collaboration.
Editing and Managing Teams
After creating a team, you can modify, edit, and manage it on Appdome.
Here is a walkthrough and the actions you can perform:
- Click on Personal Workspace at the top left of your screen.
- Select your team and click Team Management.

Note: If you have multiple teams, simply click on the star icon to add a specific team to your favorites and pin it to the top of the list.
- Under Team Management, you can see all of your teams. Click on the three dots to see more details.
You can choose any of the following activities:- View Team Details
- View Team Members
- Invite New Member
- Duplicate Team
- Go to Team Workspace
- View Team Details
- Edit the team name and description.
- View Team Type, Team ID, and Fusion Set Naming Policy.
- Request to delete a team.
- View Team Members
- Member name, Role, and Last Activity
- Remove a specific team member
- Edit and add entitlements.

- Invite New Members
- Type user email addresses and press enter.
- Type user email addresses and press enter.
- Duplicate Team
- Invite all existing members of your current team to your new team.
- Add fusion sets from your existing team to your new team.
After you have created your team, there are a few additional steps needed to complete your mobile integration project.
Upload a Mobile App to Your Team
Once the team is created, you can add apps to it.
- Click Add App at the top left of the screen.
Build the App
After you have added a mobile app to your team account, you can start choosing and enabling various Appdome security features to be added to your app.

Add Context™ to the Appdome-Fused App
Appdome is a full-featured mobile integration platform. Within Context™, Appdome users can brand the app, including adding a favicon to denote the new service added to the app.

Sign the Appdome Fused App (Required)
In order to deploy an Appdome Fused app, it must be signed. Signing an iOS app and Signing an Android app is easy using Appdome. Alternatively, you can use Private Signing, download your unsigned app, and sign locally using your own signing methods.
Deploy the Appdome-Fused App to a Mobile Device
Once you have signed your Appdome-Fused app, you can download and deploy it using your distribution method of choice. For more information on deploying your Appdome-Fused apps, please refer to this knowledge base article: How to Auto Publish Secured Android & iOS Apps to App Stores.
