About Integrating Mobiles Apps on Appdome

Appdome is a mobile integration platform as a service (iPaaS) that allows users to add a wide variety of features, SDKs and APIs to Android and iOS apps. Using a simple ‘click to add’ user interface, Appdome allows anyone to easily integrate features to any mobile app – instantly, no code or coding required.

Using Appdome, there are no development or coding prerequisites. For example, there is no Appdome SDK, libraries, or plug-ins to implement. The iOS (.ipa) or Android (.apk or .aab) App can be built in any development environment such as xCode for iOS and Android Studio, or non-native environments like Maui, Xamarin, Cordova, and React Native. The Appdome technology adds features and relevant standards, frameworks and more to the app automatically, with no manual development work at all.

Appdome Compatibility Guidelines for Integrated Mobile Apps

Mobile OS (iOS and Android) Guidelines

Mobile Apps integrated on Appdome support the most current versions of mobile operating systems (iOS and Android) as well as prior versions based on the support policy available here.

If you are running an OS version which are older than required, you should upgrade the OS on the device before Fusing your app.

Mobile App Size Guidelines

Please note that, in order to protect the service and the experience of our users, the Appdome platform limits the max size of each app to 300MB.  This Mobile App file size be increased by contacting our support team at support@appdome.com or by using the chat icon on the Appdome platform.

Does Appdome work with my apps (i.e. apps that I developed)?

Yes.  Appdome supports the fusion of any app which meets our mobile requirements. All you need is the app binary in either .ipa, .apk or .aab format.

Does Appdome work on enterprise apps? (i.e., apps developed by my company)?

Yes.  Appdome supports the fusion of enterprise apps.  Same rule as above. All you need is the app binary in either .ipa, .apk or .aab format.

Does Appdome work on commercial (3rd party or ISV) apps?

Yes. Appdome supports the fusion of ISV apps, as long as the ISV permits it.  We want everyone to “fuse responsibly.” If you have any questions about whether or not you “can” fuse an app, contact the app provider.  To permit use, ISVs can provide customers or Appdome with a binary in .ipa, .apk or .aab format.
